Summer Rides From the Mt Crested Butte Stables
The 1 Hour Ride on Snodgrass Mountain is a great ride for families with small children or those that physically might not be able to sit on a horse as long. This ride travles through the wildflower fields with some great views of the surrounding mountains.
The 1 1/2 Hour Ride on Snodgrass Mountain is our most popular ride and has a little bit of everything you look for in a mountain trailride. We ride through wildflower fields, cross streams, pass beaver ponds and wind a bit though an aspen grove before returning to the stables.
The 2 Hour Ride on Snodgrass Mountain is definately our feature ride. This ride travels all of the 1 1/2 hour ride but continues through the aspen grove climbing up the mountain to over 10,000 ft in elevation getting some spectacular mountain views before returning to the stables.
